Sooo about 2 years ago we were flooded by our friendly upstairs neighbor. Despite doing our best with what the insurance companies gave us ~ our carpeting was never quite the same. Of course we could flight blah blah, but really. I just don't want carpeting anymore. Its gross. Its dirty and after just a teeny bit of research it holds a ri-dunk-a-lous amount of allergens.
So options are now
1)wood - its a condo that's already underwater (financially speaking now) and i don't have that sorta money laying around
2)laminate - meh. not a huge fan no matter how 'good' the stuff is.
3)tile - love, but don't think it would be worth it in the DC area.
4)linoleum - a fan in theory, but again a bit pricey
5)vinyl - too grade school for me and smelly nasty stuff.
oh wait ~ there's another option?
YES!
Concrete: its free. its already there.
WHEEE. Decision made.

- Welcome to Fishnets & Photos! The latest venture of JLA Photos. I've started this blog as a temporary home for an entirely new and VERY HOT project of mine. Once a quarter I aim to have "pin-up" days. I'll bring out the studio lighting ~ a million and one props, a little bubbly and even some mood music to get us started.
